About FFR-FOR

The FFR-FOR racing series typically sees career minded young racing drivers compete alongside amateurs and enthusiasts. The series is made up of Formula Ford 1600s, Formula Ford 2000s and Formula Ford Zetec single seaters, complemented by the Formula Opel series.

With their straight forward engineering, the Formula Ford 1600, Formula Ford 2000, Formula Ford Zetec and Formula Opel offer the best value for money if you want to drive formula race cars. You won’t need a highly skilled team of engineers to maintain and prepare your race car, while complete cars and spare parts are readily available. This allows you to experience the thrill and excitement of high performance formula racing on some of the greatest circuits in North-West Europe without breaking the bank.

Bringing together an international club of drivers coming from Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, the FFR-FOR organizes racing weekends in Germany (Hockenheimring, Nürburgring), France (Dijon), Belgium (Spa-Francorchamps), the Netherlands (Zandvoort) and Czech Republic (Most Autodrom).

Since 2017 the FFR-FOR series is part of the AVD Historic Race Cup, together with the HRA, and is FIA registered.
